From Field Project Committee Chairman, Nathan Renkema
I am still looking for cooperators for field projects for this year. Many of you have the ability to participate in at least one project and that would be appreciated. The projects we as a committee decided to focus on this year were Delta Yield, and N-fixing biologicals on corn, soybeans and wheat. Below is the link that shows all the projects going on in the region this year along with their protocols. If you plan to participate in one or more of the projects please let me know. Spread the word to others that may also be interested. Feel free to also contact me by phone/text at 519-788-4391.

In light of recent events, Oxford Soil and Crop has cancelled our usual spring producer meeting. We do not want to risk the health and welfare of meeting hosts, speakers, directors or our members. It is hoped that we can get back to “normal” before our summer meeting event. Please stay tuned!
Oxford SCIA has also received Tier 1 funding to purchase some temperature recording weather stations, and we are looking for someone to report data in the south east corner of the county (Norwich area) as well as someone to the west (Thamesford/Kintore). We will send out the weather stations to the first two volunteers—contact Cathy 519-788-0895 to get yours!
